Our Audi Mission Viejo dealership proudly serves the Mission Viejo, California, area, delivering world-class service and sales assistance on Audi luxury cars and SUVs. As the 2023 lineup rolls out, our new vehicle experts have provided a sneak peek at what's coming for the new model year.

Matrix LED Headlights

U.S. regulations have prevented auto manufacturers from using matrix LED headlights for years. However, the recent relaxation of these restrictions means Audi will begin installing them on most of their new models. Standard high/low beam headlights toggle between high and low beams, as the name suggests. Matrix headlights adapt to the road, ambient light, and other vehicles by shutting off select LED cells. As a result, matrix headlights provide more illumination without blinding oncoming motorists.

Expanded E-Tron Lineup of Electric Vehicles

Audi has added the Q4 and Q4 Sportback electric vehicle (EV) crossovers to their EV lineup. These additions have Audi positioned as the luxury brand with the most EVs for sale in the U.S. Audi insiders believe this EV revolution could include the R8 Supercar, so stay tuned. And all Audi EVs qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit because the brand hasn't hit the sales threshold.

New Audi Q4 E-Tron

This compact crossover SUV comes in the crossover and hatchback body style Audi refers to as the Sportback. The Q4 E-Tron uses the same platform as Volkswagen's ID.4 EV. Thus, it uses an 82 kWh lithium-ion battery to power a single or dual electric motor configuration. Single-motor versions operate in rear-wheel drive, while the dual motor setup implements all-wheel drive.

You can expect the single motor to produce 201 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The EPA-estimated range of 250 miles on a single charge puts it at the top of its class. With the dual motor Q4, you get an impressive 295 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Plus, this powertrain clocks a 5.8-second zero to 60 mph time and has a range of 241 miles. Audi plans a mid-year model refresh that increases the range closer to 300 miles.

Audi set a starting MSRP of $45,095 for the single-motor model and $51,095 for the dual-motor variant.

Upgrades to Existing Audi Lineup

2023 brings exciting changes to the existing Audi lineup, including the RS3, A3, A4, A5, and more. Upgrades to a wide variety of features - including headlights, cruise control, wheels, and more - allow Audi to rise above the rest with their 2023 models!

2023 Audi RS 3

Audi's high-performance version of the A3 sedan uses a five-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo engine to produce an exceptional 401 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The RS 3 boasts a 3.8-second zero to 60 mph time and achieves a top speed of 180 mph. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission provides smooth, responsive shifting up and down the power band. Audi offers several suspension systems. We recommend choosing the one with adaptive dampers, beefed-up brakes, variable steering, and a torque-vectoring rear differential. The RS 3 rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo tires that stick nicely to asphalt.

2023 A3 Compact Sedan

Audi's popular compact luxury A3 sedan enters the 2023 model year without much fanfare. It has standard LED headlights. A modest increase pushes the sticker price to $36,095 before options and fees.

2023 A4 Compact Sedan

The A4 sedan also features standard LED headlights and daytime running lights. Audi wants to keep the price increases to a minimum, listing the A4 at $41,095, a bump of only $1,000 over the previous year.

2023 A5 Coupe

Audi added new 18-inch wheels in various designs with the A5 Coupe. In addition, you can opt for the Convenience package and get adaptive cruise control and the new matrix LED headlights. The Cabriolet trim has illuminated door sills, natural wood inlays, sport bucket seats, and the S line exterior trim as standard equipment. You can get the A5 for $37,595, up almost $1,700 over last year's model.

2023 Audi Q5 Compact Crossover SUV

Audi added adaptive cruise control to the 2023 Q5, but that's the only update. Pricing remains nearly the same, with a $200 increase over last year, bringing its base price to $44,495.

2023 Audi Q7 SUV

The Q7 offers a spacious cabin with three rows of seats. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and now comes with a new, more powerful engine. Audi put a 2.0-liter inline turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood that makes 261 horsepower.

The starting price of $58,695 is up $1,800 over last year's Q7. In addition to the more powerful base engine, you get the matrix LED headlights on the 45 Premium Plus trim level and above. Opting for the Q7 55 model gives you a 3.0-liter V-6 turbo engine with 335 horsepower. Expect to pay north of $64,000 for this model.

Drivers looking for more power in this class love the SQ7. This model features a 4.0-liter V-8 engine with twin turbochargers that pumps out 500 horsepower. And now you can opt for 22-inch alloy wheels in various designs. Pricing starts at $89,695 before options.

2023 Audi Q8 SUV

Only five seats in the larger Q8 SUV translates to more passenger and cargo volume for you. In addition, Audi added matrix LED headlights and a lighting system that animates as you approach and leave the Q8. A slight reshuffling of the trim packages gives you more ways to upgrade.

The Q8 55 model features Audi's 3.0-liter V-6 engine with twin turbos. As a result, this powertrain puts out 335 horsepower and allows this large SUV to go from zero to 60 mph in only 5.6 seconds. You won't pay significantly more versus last year's model, as the price only increased by $500 to $71,895.

Audi now offers a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine in the SQ8 and RS Q8 models. This engine makes 500 horsepower and 591 lb-ft of track-tearing torque. The SQ8 clocks a zero to 60 mph time of 4.3 seconds and will cost you $94,595, while the RS Q8 comes in at 3.6 seconds and costs $121,495.
