Whats new for the 2020 Audi Q3?

2020 brings many updates and changes for the Audi Q3 compared to its 2019 model. At first look, it is clear that Audi went for a much more aggressive looking body style for this redesign. Taken almost straight from the Q8, the Q3 is now equipped with a wider, large vertical grille design. This new model also has a lowered suspension to help handling corners. To compliment its sporty look, the 2020 Q3 also now has a sharper bumper, new LED tail lights, and additional chrome.

Much more exciting, is the release of two brand new Q3 models, the RS Q3 and the Q3 Sportback. These models are brand new this year and come with a completely redesigned body style with a lowered, sloping roof, AND a revamped engine that significantly improves the Q3's performance.

Never will the Q3 be the same.

RS Q3 Sportback USA Release Availability

While most of the world is going absolutely nuts, as Americans we can't help but feel like the odd ones out - with only the standard 2020 Q3 model being released to the USA for now. We have to watch from across the oceans while everyone else gets to have fun with a completely upgraded RS engine.

Q3 RS ENGINE
400 Horsepower  //  354 lb-ft Torque  //  155-174 MPH Top Speed

While this is certainly disappointing for us here in Orange County, CA, it does NOT mean that there isn't a chance of us seeing the RS models stateside. This was the case with the RS6 Avant as well, but because fans were vocal enough, the 2020 RS6 Avant will be making its US debut.

So if you really want to see the Q3 RS Sportback stateside, make sure to let Audi know!

"Audi's new Q3 feels fresh, high-tech, and polished. All things the small SUV will need to be as the brand places ambitious hopes on its little shoulders."
