2025 Audi Q8 Features & Trims

The Audi Q8’s excellent performance and sleek design raise the bar for luxury SUVs. The latest version, the 2025 Audi Q8, is miles ahead of some of its rivals, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and the BMW X6. The 2024 Q8 had a pretty comprehensive makeover, and this latest version maintains the same sportiness, comfort, engine, and core features while flaunting a few minor updates, including standard traffic-sign recognition across all trims. Let's explore this vehicle's features and see why it's leading the luxe SUV segment.

2025 Audi Q8 Features & Trims

Introducing the 2025 Audi Q8: Features and Trims

The 2025 Audi Q8’s sporty exterior reflects its manufacturer's bold design aesthetic and perfectly complements the SUV's tasteful interior and modern technology.   It offers the following three trims to choose from.

Audi Q8 Premium

The base trim level, the Audi Q8 Premium, is anything but basic. Starting at $74,400, it suits luxury lovers looking for high-end features, such as leather seat upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, a leatherette dashboard, and three-zone climate control.

Audi Q8 Premium Plus

The Audi Q8 Premium Plus builds on the Premium trim with an exciting suite of comfort and tech features for an immersive driving experience. One of this trim's major selling points is the 3D Bang & Olufsen sound system with 17 speakers. Moreover, the Premium Plus has a four-zone climate control system that allows front and rear passengers to individually control the temperature. Its starting MSRP is $78,500.

Audi Q8 Prestige

The Prestige is the highest and most expensive Audi Q8 trim level, starting at $82,500. It keeps many of the same perks that the Premium Plus offers, but it adds six speakers to the Bang & Olufsen audio system  and more upgrades, such as HD Matrix-design LED headlights and an optional night-vision camera.

Performance: Engine Specs and Driving Experience

The Audi Q8’s engine is a turbo 3.0-liter V-6 that produces an impressive 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Combined with Audi's signature Quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, it kicks the vehicle's performance to the next level and allows for smooth transitions.

Anyone who has driven the Audi Q8 can attest that it's a pretty comfy and smooth ride.  It's also flexible — no matter what the road conditions are, the adaptive suspension system enables you to adjust the ride height, and the available Sport, Auto, Dynamic, and Comfort modes let you tailor your driving experience to improve handling and responsiveness.

The 2025 Q8 boasts a towing capacity of up to 7,700 lbs and achieves a fuel economy of 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. In some tests, it hit up to 28 mpg at highway speeds. In addition, it can go from 0-60 mph in less than 5.5 seconds, outperforming many of its competitors.

Innovations in Technology, Interior, and Comfort

The 2025 Audi Q8’s interior proves how comfort-focused its manufacturer is. It's equipped with tons of luxurious features, such as a panoramic sunroof and heated front seats that add ventilation and massage functions on higher trims. It's also got ample storage room, offering approximately 31 cubic feet of cargo space, which increases to a whopping 60.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

Infotainment and Connectivity

With a 10.1-inch upper and an 8.6-inch lower touch screen, the Audi Q8 offers one of the most comprehensive infotainment systems available. It includes the Virtual Cockpit, a customizable 12-inch digital cluster that displays maps and essential vehicle performance information. On top of that, the Q8 infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus  SiriusXM radio.

Safety Systems and Driver-Assistance Features

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Q8 has an overall safety rating of 5 stars, which is the best a ride can get. The Q8’s standard safety features  are quite impressive , including lane guidance, blind-spot monitoring,  remote automated parking, and traffic sign recognition to give you an overview of road signs and speed limits.

Higher Audi Q8 trims boast advanced driver-assistance systems that offer even more convenient safety features, such as adaptive cruise control.

Customization and Aesthetic Choices

The Audi Q8’s interior and exterior both exude elegance, and Audi offers a range of customization and aesthetic options to help you tailor your ride to your exact taste and preference. For example, the car comes in an exciting palette of colors, including Mythos Black metallic, Waitomo Blue Metallic, Glacier White Metallic, and Samurai Gray metallic. You can even add a Daytona Gray pearl effect paint finish to really kick it up a notch. Audi also offers a few different packages, such as the Black Optic package that adds a diamond-turned finish, black exterior trim, and chrome and gray accents.

Making the 2025 Audi Q8 Yours

The 2025 Audi Q8 is a great buy,  even though it has a higher price point and lower fuel efficiency than some of its rivals. Its efficient engine, sleek yet spacious design, well-appointed interior, and top-tier safety technology make it a reliable luxury SUV.
